My name is Travis Glennon. I am a master’s level educator with advanced training in curriculum and applied neurosciences. I am also an award winning coach, with experience working for esteemed schools such as Phillips Exeter Academy and Harvard.
I combine an empathic, whole child approach with research-based strategies. With my background in neuropsychology, I am skilled at helping students develop the self-regulatory functions needed to reach the fullest potential of their minds and bodies. Some of the specific skills that I support include goal setting, organization, task initiation, perseverance, and positive thinking.
I have experience working with exceptional students, including those identified as gifted and/or twice exceptional, as well as those diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and Anxiety. I understand that students need to feel safe and understood in order to be fully receptive to instruction. I deeply value my relationships with my students, and am effective at fostering co-regulation, or the mutual exchange of calm that occurs between two people. When my students are not sure of themselves, I am happy to act as their "grit by proxy."
I enjoy partnering with my students and their parents, and look forward to helping your child meet ambitious goals, whether in the classroom or on the field.
